Learn the basics for fixing your well-loved shirts, pants, and sweaters. We’ll have plenty of needles, thread, fabric, and a few fun tools to try out, plus support to get through your mending pile or try a new technique. Bring a garment with a rip or a tear, or practice on our samples!
Artist-In-Residence Vic Spindler-Fox is an environmental artist and field scientist from East Tennessee. Their artistic work is focused on reclaimed and mended textiles rooted in embodiment and a sense of place, investigating mourning, memory, scrap and salvage.
