A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens that uses a tiny hole—known as an aperture—to project images onto film. When light passes through a small opening, it creates a camera obscura, a natural phenomenon documented as far back as 500 BCE. In this program, learn about how a pinhole camera works, make one to take home, and learn how to use it to expose film and make photographs. All necessary supplies will be provided. This program takes place in the 3rd floor conference room.
