Information & Research Programs

The Information and Research Services Department’s first track of programs is centered on researching at the library and building research techniques. These programs seek to explore how to frame a research question, find authoritative sources, and navigate the library’s collections using the Dewey Decimal and Library of Congress classification systems. Our research-focused programs also investigate the pros and cons of AI as a research tool and explain how Generative AI is being integrated into many research databases.
