Turn your passion for the Library into action: act, write and share your story.
No other educational institution does as much for people of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances as the library. Libraries provide the keys to a literate population and are an essential part of a strong education for all Pennsylvanians.
Strategic investment in libraries provides opportunities for all residents to learn skills and literacies that are crucial to connect them to the world of information and ideas. Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh relies on state funding to provide critical services to our community such as early learning programs for children, engaging out-of-school time for teens, job search assistance and computer and internet access.
Help protect the library services and programs you have come to rely on. Please take a moment to contact your state legislators and Governor Shapiro’s office by calling, mailing or emailing to urge them to make a stronger investment in libraries.
