    This program will help teens articulate their intersections of identity in a fun, creative way to tell the story of their own life. They will also learn how to construct a map with different natural and architectural elements to highlight the different “environments” of who they are. This event is part of America250PA programming.

    Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender presents Post-Conviction Relief Clinic

    CLP – Carrick 1811 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh

    Our post-conviction relief clinics are an opportunity to work with the public defender’s Project Reset Team. We can provide one on one client consultations regarding criminal record clearing for cases that were adjudicated in Allegheny County. We also can explain the differences between using expungement, pardon, sealing, and vacatur to clear a criminal record.

    Come by the location to visit with a certified Therapet! These pets have undergone special training to provide comfort and affection, and are certified through Animal Friends’ Therapets program.     To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, this Kids Club will focus on the power of community, and the role strong communities play in our nation. Kids will explore how change starts locally and learn how being a good neighbor can help create positive change. Children will create a little town by designing a building to add.
