During this program, teens will create their own sensory board. This program will help teens think about how some people’s feelings, emotions, and physical senses can be different from each other’s, and how we can respect these differences while still honoring our individual selves. The event is part of our Disability Pride 2026 programming.

Choose your own adventure! Continue a Kids Club activity; explore the supplies, toys and games in the children’s space; or teach other kids something you love. Children’s Services staff will be there to support you. For kids in grades K-5.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, this Kids Club will focus on the power of community, and the role strong communities play in our nation. Kids will explore how change starts locally and learn how being a good neighbor can help create positive change. Children will create a little town by designing a building to add. This event is part of America250PA programming.

Children will learn about CLP’s LAMP (Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians) location and how staff makes reading and art accessible for patrons with disabilities. They will also learn about braille and how to create tactile art that those with visual impairments will be able to appreciate.
