Vision to Learn provides eye exams, glasses, and replacement glasses to kids throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania at no out of pocket cost. An estimated 30,000 kids throughout the Pittsburgh area do not have the glasses they need to see the board, read a book, or participate in class. This program will help teens articulate their intersections of identity in a fun, creative way to tell the story of their own life. They will also learn how to construct a map with different natural and architectural elements to highlight the different “environments” of who they are. This event is part of America250PA programming.
