The Library is the place to be! Kids Club programs may include crafts, games, books, technology and more. Meet new friends, hang out with old friends and try something new. For kids in grades K-5.
Explore contemporary cultures of the Haudenosaunee people and their relationships with the natural world. Examine tools and hand-crafted objects to learn about unifying themes and unique beliefs across the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Mohawk, and Tuscarora nations.
Join us for knitting and crocheting activities, learn about our resources, and connect with others in the community. Bring your current project or use our basic supplies provided while they last.
Learn how to prepare for college while in high school, build a strong college list, and navigate the college admissions with guidance from the University of Pittsburgh’s admissions team.
Explore how to frame a research question, find authoritative sources, and navigate the library’s collections using Dewey and Library of Congress systems. This program will take place in the Job & Career Education Center on the 2nd floor of Main Library. Registration is recommended, walk ins welcome.
Participants will learn the “ins and outs” of the evaluation process, the forms used, and how to utilize the reports that are generated to identify educational need.

Vision to Learn provides eye exams, glasses, and replacement glasses to kids throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania at no out of pocket cost. An estimated 30,000 kids throughout the Pittsburgh area do not have the glasses they need to see the board, read a book, or participate in class.
