Create your own portrait! Discuss a selection of portraits from the Frick Art Museum and create one of your own in this one-hour workshop. For grades K-5.
Children will learn about CLP’s LAMP (Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians) location and how staff makes reading and art accessible for patrons with disabilities. They will also learn about braille and how to create tactile art that those with visual impairments will be able to appreciate. During this program, teens will learn how visual design can be more accessible to people with visual and cognitive impairments and disabilities. Teens will design an accessible poster following basic accessibility guidelines for people with visual and cognitive impairment and disabilities. The event is part of our Disability Pride 2026 programming.
We Learn: Film Discussion is a free, six-week community class at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh — West End Branch.
