The Library is the place to be! Kids Club programs may include crafts, games, books, technology and more. Meet new friends, hang out with old friends and try something new. For kids in grades K-5.
Children will learn about CLP’s LAMP (Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians) location and how staff makes reading and art accessible for patrons with disabilities. They will also learn about braille and how to create tactile art that those with visual impairments will be able to appreciate. During this program, teens will learn how visual design can be more accessible to people with visual and cognitive impairments and disabilities. Teens will design an accessible poster following basic accessibility guidelines for people with visual and cognitive impairment and disabilities. The event is part of our Disability Pride 2026 programming.
We Learn: Film Discussion is a free, six-week community class at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh — West End Branch. Build the skills children & families need to have a strong transition to Kindergarten. For parents/caregivers of children birth-age 5 with emphasis on supporting children ages 3, 4, and 5 & their families.
Cuddle up with 30 minutes of stories, songs and action rhymes that develop early literacy skills in children. Pajamas optional! For children ages birth to five years and their caregivers.

Little Artists is a sensory experience for experimenting and exploring colors, shapes, textures, and materials. Exploration can get messy, so dress accordingly. For children birth to 5 years and their caregivers.
