This Teen Time program will help teens learn about trailblazer Alma Woodsey Thomas and her powerful form of abstract painting. Teens will be encouraged to take inspiration from their own experiences, environment, and feelings to create a painting using a similar art style. In Detective Science, children use science to crack a case! The Crime happens just before the Bustertown bakeoff. Mr. Baker’s big, fat, chewy chocolate chip cookie is sabotaged and his recipe is stolen. Analyzing all the evidence is what helps pinpoint the perpetrator. Grades 3-6
