To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, this Kids Club will focus on the power of community, and the role strong communities play in our nation. Kids will explore how change starts locally and learn how being a good neighbor can help create positive change. Children will create a little town by designing a building to add. Children will learn about CLP’s LAMP (Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians) location and how staff makes reading and art accessible for patrons with disabilities. They will also learn about braille and how to create tactile art that those with visual impairments will be able to appreciate.
