    Allegheny County Park Rangers present Introduction to Archaeology

    Learn about archaeological theory and practice and the archaeological record of Western Pennsylvania. Can you identify the difference between a rock and a hammer stone? Learn how American Indians created stone tools like projectile points and net sinkers. Hands-on exploration of artifacts and activities are part of this program. For children.
