Local History Day is an exciting event that celebrates the rich history and culture of the Pittsburgh region and beyond. The event brings together libraries, archives, historical societies, and community groups from the area to share their resources and knowledge with attendees.
Learn about Pittsburgh community stories and projects at this year’s event that will feature an opening and closing speaker, a panel on community collections, and a demonstration on how to navigate and use HistoricPittsburgh.org. Attendees can also view historical and community resources from local institutions and take part in historical building tours of the library.
The event will take place on the Second Floor, South Wing Reading Room, on the Third Floor of CLP-Main.
