Mary Monaghan
Director, Public Services & Pgh Book Fest
Mary Monaghan oversees public services across Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, including the Main Library, neighborhood libraries, Collections, the Office of Programmatic Services (OPS) and the annual Pgh Book Fest. Since beginning her career as a children’s librarian at CLP – West End, she has seen firsthand how libraries evolve alongside the communities they serve. Mary is especially proud to help bring readers and writers together through Pgh Book Fest event while continuing to expand opportunities for learning, discovery and connection throughout the city.
