Local author Marianne Novy will discuss her book, Adoption Memoirs: Inside Stories, which compares and contrasts 45 published memoirs by adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth mothers. Cases she discusses are mostly from 21st century adoptions in the United States, both same-race and transracial. |
