Summer Meals are back at the Library!

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is participating in the 2026 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) in order to ensure Pittsburgh youth have access to free food during summer vacation. This is incredibly important because good nutrition is essential for learning!

CLP’s 2026 summer meals and snacks schedule is as follows:

CLP – Allegheny
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Lunch:  12 – 1 pm

CLP – Beechview
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Snack:  2 – 3 pm

CLP – Brookline
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Lunch:  12:30 – 1:30 pm
Snack:  3 – 4 pm

CLP – Carrick
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Snack:  12:30 – 1:30 pm

CLP – Downtown
Monday through Friday (Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, August 21)
Snack:  1 – 3 pm

CLP – East Liberty
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Snack:  2 – 4 pm

CLP – Hazelwood
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Snack:  3 – 4 pm

CLP – Homewood

Monday through Thursday (Monday, June 15 through Thursday, August 20)
Lunch: 12 – 12:30 pm
Snack: 4:45 – 5 pm

CLP – Mt. Washington
Tuesday through Thursday (Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, August 21)
Snack: 3:30 – 4:30 pm

CLP – South Side
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
AM Snack:  11 – 11:30 am

CLP – West End
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Lunch: 1 – 2 pm

CLP – Woods Run
Monday through Friday (Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 21)
Lunch:  12 – 1 pm
Snack:  3 – 4 pm


 

Meals are for youth ages 18 and younger and persons with disabilities up to age 21. Food will be provided during the above times each day while supplies last. Please help us spread the word about this service to others in your neighborhood!

Summer Meals are being offered locally in collaboration with Pittsburgh CitiParks as part of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.
